They say Baldwin St, Dunedin is steep but my learning curve at Kiwibank could quite possibly have been a smidgen steeper. Four months working in the website team certainly smoothed any rough edges when it came to all that in-house stuff like stakeholder management, job bagging, and even how to cut and paste on a PC. Most of my time was spent making incremental improvements to the public site — new forms and product pages, updates, redesigning pages to look better. Although I also worked on ways to apply a brand refresh to the site too. Learning a new CMS definitely had its moments but it sure makes writers more useful.
